University of Buckingham Validated Programmes
Students enrolled in two validated programmes — BA Business and Management and BA Political Science— at the British University in Georgia benefit from receiving two diplomas upon graduation: one from the University of Buckingham in the UK and one from the British University.

Vazha Pshavela Foundation
The British University proudly established the Vazha Pshavela Foundation to support the education of bright, talented young Georgians who lack the financial means to study at our university. Founded alongside the University itself, the Foundation has since enabled numerous students to access high-quality British education in Georgia, at a fraction of the cost of studying abroad in the United Kingdom.
The Foundation draws inspiration from the life of Vazha Pshavela, one of Georgia’s most celebrated poets. His story is a poignant reminder of the importance of investing in youth education. Despite his extraordinary talent and ambition, Vazha Pshavela was unable to complete his studies in St. Petersburg due to financial difficulties and had to return to Georgia. This initiative honors his legacy by providing opportunities to promising young individuals, ensuring they receive the support he lacked and empowering them to create a brighter future for themselves and society.
