Cenomi Retail Georgia participated in the competition in four categories, presenting major human, social, and environmental initiatives implemented by the company. The preparation of the applications was led by the company’s Human Capital Manager and British University Executive MBA student, Nato Kvachantiradze.

Among the initiatives submitted, the company won in the category “Decent Work and Economic Growth” (SDG 8 – Equal Worth – Equal Pay). The winning project reduced the company’s gender pay gap to below 2% by the end of 2024 and introduced a transparent, fair, and structured salary matrix.

In addition to the winning category, Cenomi Retail Georgia presented three other projects:

  1. SDG 4 – Learning That Matters – A company-wide continuous education and skill development system involving 908 participants and 815 training hours in 2024.

  2. SDG 8 – Opportunity for Everyone – Reducing the gender pay gap and introducing a fair compensation system, resulting in a 2% pay gap by the end of 2024.

  3. SDG 12 – A Quiet Choice That Still Matters – Replacing single-use plastics, introducing paper packaging, and donating a total of €118,202.72 to WWF in 2024.
