The University of Buckingham Validation

This programme is validated by the University of Buckingham through a rigorous process that ensures teaching at the British University (BU) aligns with Buckinghamโ€™s academic standards. The University of Buckingham reviews studentsโ€™ assignments and approves the grades assigned by BU faculty, and it conducts an annual review of BU to verify compliance with its quality requirements.

This validation process allows Buckingham to award its own degree to graduates of this programme. As a result, students receive two diplomas upon graduation: one from the British University in Georgia and one from the University of Buckingham.

Academic Staff

The academic staff at the British University is composed of highly skilled professionals with both extensive teaching experience and substantial expertise in their respective fields. Each course is led by an instructor who brings real-world insights into the classroom, connecting lessons to practical examples. This approach ensures that students receive the most current and relevant knowledge of todayโ€™s public policy environment.

Global Internship Program

Our Global Internship Program provides students with opportunities to intern at leading organizations in cities worldwide, including London, Paris, Madrid, Barcelona, Lisbon, Stockholm, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Bangkok, Seoul and Krakow.

Pre-Accelerator Program

Students can participate in the Pre-Accelerator Program, which includes two core components: 1) software engineering skill development, and 2) start-up development. The software engineering component involves four months of coding instruction. In the start-up component, experienced entrepreneurs mentor students as they develop their own projects. For this program, the University collaborates with AXEL Network, Georgiaโ€™s first angel investment fund.

Job Market

Tbilisi offers a vibrant job market, and we help students secure employment opportunities from their first year, thanks to partnerships with various local organizations.
